As a technical development partner, Datenwerk created a software solution for a global leader in tax consulting for documenting internal transfer prices for corporations which are active internationally.

Challenge
Companies must thoroughly document internal transfer prices and further relationships between their separate firms for the tax authorities. This extremely complex operating process should be supported efficiently using documentation software. The subsidiary of a company (clients) must be able to log into the documentation program. Pursuant to deliberate security, each firm is allocated certain rights, according to which they can enter and report information in the dataset.

Project:
Due to a sophisticated modelling of the project according to the model-view-controller pattern, code areas were created which are widely independent from one another. There are two autonomous frontends: One is realized in Microsoft Access, and the other is a web frontend, implemented using ASP.NET. An aspect of the complex business logic is the flexible assignment of rights within the application. Overall, the technical portions are interlocked very strongly with business logic.
